CAN I RENT OUT YOUR HALL?
The hall is used by a nursery from Monday to Fridays during term time so is unavailable to hire. A Filipino church meets in the hall on Sunday afternoons.
The hall is currently free on Saturdays and during school holidays - please call Rev Stephen MacLean on 020 82081463 for information.
Please note we do not hire our halls out beyond 8.00pm.
CAN I GET MARRIED IN YOUR CHURCH?
Yes. You can also have your marriage blessed in our church. The church is kept free on Saturdays for this and we charge a small fee for the use of the hall.
CAN I GET MY CHILD CHRISTENED AT YOUR CHURCH?
No. Christening is a custom which many churches follow, but we are Baptists and only believers can be baptised. However, we are happy to dedicate your child during our morning service.
WHAT STYLE OF SERVICE DO YOU HAVE?
Our services are an uplifting blend of the traditional and the contemporary. We offer healing prayers at the end of the service and our services usually last around an hour and a half.
WHO GOES TO YOUR CHURCH?
We're a pretty multicultural bunch. British, Caribbeans, Africans, Filipinos, Iraqis, Indians, Romanians, Greeks and Australians are all represented. This is London after all! Our age range is pre-school to pensioners, which we think is a healthy cross section.
WHY WAS THE CHURCH TURNED INTO FLATS?
It was 1995, numbers were down, we needed a minister and had no money. Something had to give, which is why we sold the main church building on Anson Road to developers.
HOW OLD IS THE CHURCH
The original church building (Now Trinity Court) was completed in 1908. The current church building (The Daisley Hall) was built in the 1930s
