Please find below an introduction to our church leaders and members of staff.


Minister: Rev Stephen Maclean		Pastor Peter Andoh
Stephen chose to follow Jesus from an early age. He did a years placement with the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen, studied at the Faith Mission Bible College in Edinburgh before doing his Theology degree in Glasgow. He moved to London in 1999 to work with London City Mission. After 10 years with LCM he served two local Baptist churches as a youth leader and assistant pastor, becoming minister of Cricklewood Baptist church in 2013. By God's grace the church has grown and formed many links with the local community. Our pastor also has moderated at a few local churches and also serves as the Team Leader of the Small Church Connexion part of the London Baptist's.		Peter originally comes from Ghana and when he is not doing his day to day job he helps local Baptist churches with preaching. In 2025 he was nationally recognised by the Baptist Union.

		Lawrence has been part of the church for many years and faithfully serves as our treasurer, and pianist.

Lauraine and Carol also serve on the diaconate.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at the Church Building (details here) for our Sunday Service starting at 11.00am.

We serve tea, coffee and biscuits after the service. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free. We also receive free food from the CO-OP supermarket that can be collected at the end of the service.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There are disabled toilets in the main foyer.

Our Service

The main service begins at 11.00am with a warm welcome from one of our team members. Then follows a time of sung worship, led by our band. We typically have 3 to 4 songs lasting approximately 20 minutes. Sometimes a person might pray out loud or read a passage from the Bible. Sometimes people share things that they believe God is saying to the whole church family. This might seem strange the first time you hear it but it’s all part of our connecting with God. We then share news and notices, usually about what’s going on in the life of the church. One of our leaders will then give a sermon that is Bible based and that we can apply to our everyday life. We then finish with a final worship song. There is an opportunity to receive prayer at the end of the service.

What about my children?

We currently have two groups for children and teenagers.
Our Sunday school teachers are all DBS checked and we have one group for those in Primary school and another older group for those in Secondary school.

The children and youth are very much involved in the life of the church and help with leading services, singing, helping in worship, Bible readings etc.

Other Ministries

We also run the following ministries:

Bible Study on Mondays
Prayer meetings on Zoom once a month and a prayer breakfast once a month
A Free community meal on the 1st Thursday of the month
We also have people involved in evangelism
Football camp for young people usually in the Summer with Ambassadors Football
